Become Part of Her Story ❤️🩹
Today our team were called out to an injured monkey who had been found lying face down on the ground, too weak to move.
We left immediately and found this beautiful little girl, estimated to be around 2 years old, with a large wound to her arm, most likely caused by a pellet gun. Due to how weak she was, we feared the pellet may have entered her chest, but thankfully her X-rays showed that wasn’t the case.
She has since had her wounds cleaned, been placed on IV fluids to help with dehydration, and is receiving pain relief, antibiotics, and plenty of rest while she regains her strength. She is still very weak, but she’s safe now… and she’s fighting.
The first thing everyone notices about her is her incredible eyes. They’re huge, gentle and full of soul. 🥹
Now all she needs is a name.
For a donation of R2,000 (approximately £90 / €105 / US$120), you can choose the name that will stay with her throughout her rehabilitation journey. Your donation will help cover her veterinary treatment and daily care, giving her the very best chance of one day returning home to her troop in the wild.
If you’d like to give this brave girl her forever name, send us a message. Let us know your suggestions below 👇
