Sanctuary Saturday 🌿

This week, juveniles Angel & Zouzou spent the morning in sickbay while their enclosure received a refresh - the first of many intro cages due for an upgrade.

Middle Section Staff Angus added fresh branches, replaced the soil, and gave the space a new feel for the youngsters to enjoy.

Angel & Zouzou both arrived at the sanctuary last year after being rescued by the SPCA. Angel was found living in a cage wearing a collar that later had to be medically removed, while Zouzou was rescued after being found for sale on the side of the road.

At the moment, our focus remains on integrating the remaining babies into troops. Adult males Boetie Boy, Nicholas, and Aroha are currently having active integration shifts.
